As a Hedge Fund Due Diligence Professional, you will be responsible for setting and improving our organizational objectives and ensuring their consistent accomplishment. You will support the sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring of hedge funds, primarily Long/Short Equity and Event-driven including analysis of fund performance and investments along with related data maintenance.
Job responsibilities
Collaborate with sector leads to comprehensively underwrite new investments using qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.Evaluate potential hedge fund investments and monitor existing investments across various financial and investment topics, such as portfolio construction, liquidity, options, and risk management.Articulate the investment underwriting process to external managers and investors, conveying knowledge and credibility.Serve as the central contact for third-party hedge fund managers.Maintain and analyze both recurring and bespoke data related to hedge funds. Create annual fund decks with deep dives into performance and attributionsDevelop strong relationships with Specialists, Structuring, Portfolio Managers, Operational Due Diligence, and Asset Class Leaders.Represent the Private Bank within the industry with professionalism and expertise.Demonstrate strong teamwork and interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment.Utilize strong quantitative and analytical abilities to support investment decisions.Communicate effectively through written and verbal presentation skills.Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
At least 4 years of relevant investment experience.Experience within hedge fund allocation and/or equities Strong quantitative/analytical abilities as well as written/verbal presentation skills.Ability to represent the Private Bank within the industry.Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills.Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
CFA, CAIA, or MBA preferred but not necessary.
