Law, Security & Public Policy (LSPP) has an opening for an Associate General Counsel – Trade & Fair Competition. This selected candidate will be a member of the Chief Compliance Officer’s leadership team while leading a team that provides legal support on international trade and antitrust strategies and initiatives across the enterprise.

What You Will Do:

Advise senior and executive management and provide clear guidance on global trade regulations, fair competition, and risk management topics, promoting enterprise compliance.Manage a global legal team with a strategic approach to trade compliance and fair competition risks, emerging technologies, global supply chains, and evolving geopolitical developments.Proactively monitor, manage and mitigate risks through internal and external engagement with stakeholders and partners.Assist with development and implementation of legal strategies and goals in line with company's business objectives

What You Have:

Degree and Experience Requirements:

J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials and active bar admission in any U.S. stateDemonstrated senior leadership support, advocacy, and acumen with strong intellectual curiosityConsiderable experience providing counsel for a global business and solid knowledge of Caterpillar's worldwide operations, policies, objectives, and history; 12+ years of progressively advancing job-related experience is typically requiredExperience in leadership gained through previous senior level or supervisory assignments

Summary Pay Range:

$249,600.00 - $374,400.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
