Northrop Grumman’s Dense Systems Advanced Weapons Division is looking for a Systems Engineer- Requirements to support the Stand in Attack Weapon (SiAW) Program. You will be a member of a high performing, systems engineering team interacting with customers, program management, cross-functional teams of engineers and senior technologists. The SiAW team members work in a fast pace environment and requires individual team members to be highly adaptable problem solvers. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to requirements gap analysis, developing major sub- system specifications, managing the development, allocation and traceability of customer requirements, etc.
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site in Northridge, CA; Baltimore, MD; or Tucson, AZ. No remote/telework arrangement is available for this position. Salaries for each site listed at the bottom.
Responsibilities:
Manage system requirements in the Requirements Management databases (DOORS).Regularly interface with the Product Owner, Scrum Master, other team members and team members on other teams.Develop system specifications and defining performance requirements for major subsystemsManage the development, allocation, and traceability of customer requirements to system and lower-level requirementsGenerate activity and use case diagrams in CameoConduct requirement gap analysis for subsystem-level requirementsPlan and develop system integration, test, and requirement verification activitiesBasic Qualifications for Associate Systems Engineer - Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a STEM disciplineExperience with systems engineering tools such as IBM Rationale DOORS, Cameo or RhapsodyMust have strong technical problem solving, written and verbal communication skillsAbility to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret clearance / U.S. citizenship requiredPreferred Qualifications for Associate Systems Engineer - Requirements:
