JOB TITLE: Associate Director Technology II

JOB LOCATION: 3400 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75075 [Hybrid Position]

DUTIES: Support quality assurance and test architecture responsibilities for major projects, validating critical customer flows in the online digital space. Design and implement test plans and strategies, writing and executing test cases, identifying and creating defects and managing them through final resolution. Utilize test automation strategies to enhance test execution and coverage. Work with business stakeholders, development and architects across teams to identify the high priority scenarios for end-to-end validation and coordinates the testing efforts. Analyze test results and metrics, prepares and presents test status reports on a regular basis. Communicate progress proactively and regularly using available tools and strategies scheduled and ad hoc meetings, formal jeopardies, escalations, daily/weekly progress reports, and defect metrics collections. Engage with impacted teams throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle from project initiation to final production validation. Interview and select employees, maintains proper staffing levels, allocates resources, supervises team’s daily operations, identifies areas for improvement, develops action plans, enforces Company policies, takes disciplinary action, individual performance, merit increase, and promotions. Employ test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds and UI component. Utilize SCRUM, Agile, DevOps methodology. Employ automation tools for test execution. Utilize multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model and on-prem/cloud integration. Leverage tooling for defect triaging and troubleshooting utilizing Jira, Rally and HP-ALM. Supervises Twenty Two (22) employees, including one (1) Principal System Engineer(s), one (3) Lead System Engineers, eight (8) Senior-System Engineer(s), One (1) Manager-Quality Assurance; Four (4) Sr Associate Quality Assurance; Three (3) Sr Specialist Quality Assurance; and Two (2) Specialist Quality Assurance.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Mechanical Engineering or Computer Engineering, and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered, or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation employing test planning, test case design and execution for large-scale projects within an integrated test environment requiring validation across multiple touchpoints including API’s, microservices, email/SMS communications, file feeds and UI component; utilizing SCRUM, Agile, DevOps methodology; employing automation tools for test execution; utilizing multi-tier web application architecture, micro-service technologies, Devops model and on-prem/cloud integration; and  leveraging tooling for defect triaging and troubleshooting utilizing Jira, Rally and HP-ALM.
