Associate Director Product Management - Commercial IT
The Associate Director, Product Management – Commercial IT Sales Technology will serve as a strategic leader driving the vision, roadmap, and delivery of innovative technology solutions that enable commercial excellence across global markets. This role combines deep expertise in CRM platforms (Veeva Vault CRM and Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud) with strong leadership and product management capabilities to support field force effectiveness, compliance, and data-driven decision-making. As a key business partner, the Associate Director will influence cross-functional teams, manage complex programs, and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. The ideal candidate brings critical thinking, technical skill, and a proven ability to lead transformation initiatives in a fast-paced, regulated environment. In addition to core product management responsibilities, the role requires knowledge of AI frameworks and emerging technologies, including Agentic AI principles, to design adaptive, intelligent solutions that enhance customer engagement and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will champion responsible AI practices, employing advanced analytics and automation to deliver measurable business impact. **A Typical Day Includes:** + Act as the primary technology business partner for US commercial field sales team and global commercial training team, ensuring alignment of IT solutions with business priorities. + Lead product strategy and roadmap development for sales technology platforms, including CRM and related tools. + Partner with commercial leadership to develop cases, perform benefit analysis, and provide accurate estimates for initiatives. + Drive end-to-end product lifecycle management, from requirements gathering and functional design to UAT and deployment. + Serve as the bridge between business partners and technical teams, ensuring solutions meet business needs and are scalable for future growth. + Provide expert guidance on sales technology solutions, including next generation CRM platform - Veeva Vault CRM and Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. + Identify process gaps and recommend strategic improvements to enhance efficiency and compliance. + Oversee training and communication strategies for end-users to enhance adoption and effectiveness. **This Role May be for you:** + Influences without authority and drives alignment across diverse partners. + Demonstrates accountability and ownership for outcomes. + Develops long-term vision and translates it into actionable plans. + Anticipates market and technology trends to inform product strategy. + Deep understanding of Veeva Vault CRM and Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud. + Ability to challenge technical designs constructively for scalability and simplicity. + Builds strong cross-functional relationships across IT, Commercial, and external partners. **To be considered, you must possess:** + Bachelor’s degree in a related field; advanced degree preferred. + 8+ years of experience in Pharma/Biotech IT with a focus on commercial technology solutions. + Proven track record in product management and IT project leadership, including partner engagement and governance. + Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault CRM and Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud + Technical understanding of PromoMats, Informatica, Snowflake & Tableau + Strong understanding of data integration and MDM within CRM ecosystems. + Ability to challenge technical designs constructively, ensuring simplicity and scalability. + Ability to be onsite in one of our locations four days a week Does this sound like you?
