Associate Director - Environmental Risk and Resilience Job ID 247561 Posted 19-Dec-2025 Service line PJM Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Building Surveying/Consultancy Location(s) London - England - United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Role Purpose As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for delivering Environmental Due Diligence consulting services to clients across our business. Associate Director are responsible for leading more complex programmes of work and co-ordinating multiple projects for clients, demonstrating strong technical expertise in particular areas and providing mentoring support and management to more junior members of the TDD team. You may lead a virtual team of consultants delivering high-quality work to clients and building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. In the role you will: •Lead teams: Manage and motivate matrix teams of consultants to deliver high-quality projects, develop their skills, and achieve business growth targets. •Deliver services: Deliver EDD consulting services to clients, including; portfolio and asset level work. •Business development: Build relationships with clients, colleagues and other stakeholders to identify opportunities for business growth. •Service delivery: Manage services to meet the agreed client outcomes and the commercial targets we have set for the work. Person Specification/Requirements A natural collaborator, able to foster and maintain relationships. Proactively seeks responsibility and opportunity to broaden and deepen both technical and non-technical skills to progress their career for the benefit of themselves and the TDD team. Good experience in leading client projects in a large business setting. Able to identify problems and issues and address these with clients or teams in a simple and diagnostic way while delivering the best outcomes for the client and CBRE. •Able to communicate concisely, clearly and articulately; and demonstrates natural ability to adapt their style to the audience. •Able to manage client and stakeholders expectations and be proactive and positive in their outlook, and find solutions to problems as they arise. Is action focused and practical in their approach for themselves and others. •Demonstrates and adopts a commercial / business approach in delivering financial outcomes and able to translate this into practice in how they oversee their teams and the work they undertake for clients. •Can support in challenging and difficult conversations with colleagues and clients. •Can manage junior members of the team during project delivery, setting out clear objectives, timelines and delivery expectations. •Has +5 years’ experience in Environmental Due Diligence, understands the business drivers and needs of investor and occupier real estate clients and is able to demonstrate that experience when engaging with clients. •Excellent communication and presentation skills, strong attention to detail.
