As an Associate Director-Env/Health/Safety, you will be responsible for overseeing a team to develop and implement comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and a safe workplace culture.
Key Roles and Responsibilities: Typical tasks may include, but are not limited to, the following:
Develop and Implement EHS Policies: Create and enforce comprehensive policies to ensure regulatory compliance and promote workplace safety.
Risk Assessments and Training: Perform risk evaluations and deliver training programs to educate employees on EHS practices and emergency response.
Incident Management and Sustainability: Oversee investigations of accidents, conduct regular audits, and ensure continuous improvement in safety protocols.
Manage EHS Team: Mentor EHS team and manage team engagement and communication with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and community partners.
Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional tasks as needed, including managing sustainability initiatives, analyzing EHS data, overseeing budget management, and other responsibilities related to EHS operations.
Job Contribution: Oversees operational aspects of the department, focusing on the day-to-day management of related initiatives. This role is primarily concerned with the implementation and execution of strategies developed by higher management. Typically leads to entry-level and career-level staff within the organization. Responsible for influencing decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates.
What you’ll do:
Coach and manage employee performance and behavior, develop the training strategy, monitor costs to meet financial goals and ensure all personnel are handled in accordance with company guidelines
Also required to interface with customers through face-to-face and/or telephone interactions
Duties include travel (averaging travel 50%) to assigned territories interviewing/hire/fire along with submitting performance appraisal for supervisors
Monitors costs and workload
Administers and oversees company safety practices, and vehicle and tool inventory
Establish, implement and monitor adherence to methods, processes and procedures including managing employee attendance
Responsible for training, evaluating and managing performance evaluations of direct reports. Influences decisions regarding the hiring, firing, disciplinary action, promotional activity, and pay decisions for subordinates
What you’ll bring:
Required Experience:
5+ years of network related technical experience some of which was in a supervisory role
Desired Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) preferred

Environmental Requirements:
This position may be responsible for contributing to AT&T compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to its job function. This may include, but is not limited to, work related to fuel tanks, emergency and stand-by generators, boilers, hazardous waste, hazardous materials, batteries, manholes and vaults, water wells, linear and other construction projects, water discharge, or air emissions.
Our Associate Director-Env/Health/Safety, earns between $116,700 – $196,100 annually. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
