Associate Director, Sr. Business Analyst

Job Description

What is the opportunity?

The Senior Business Analyst will analyze and develop functional business requirements and modules testing for assigned projects. Applies complete knowledge, skills, and practices to perform assignments.

What will you do?

Understanding the current state of processes, identifying areas for improvement, and translating business needs into technical requirements. 

Creating detailed documentation of existing systems and processes, including flow diagrams, user stories, and use cases. 

Facilitating meetings, gathering feedback, and collaborating with various stakeholders (business, IT, etc.). 

Proposing solutions to improve efficiency, reduce risk, or address identified issues. 

Ensuring that implemented solutions meet the defined requirements and expectations. 

Using data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization, and reporting on findings to stakeholders. 

What do you need to succeed?

Must Have:

Strong analytical skills: The ability to analyze complex data, identify patterns, and make informed recommendations. 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills: The ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders, build relationships, and facilitate collaboration. 

Technical proficiency: Familiarity with relevant technologies, tools, and systems used within RBC, such as those used for data analysis and reporting. 

Problem-solving skills: The ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and implement changes effectively. 

Project management skills: Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. 

Knowledge of business processes and financial services: A strong understanding of the financial services industry, particularly in areas like collateral management and risk assessment. 

Understanding of collateral management processes: Familiarity with the various types of collateral, the processes for managing them, and the associated risks. 

Experience with collateral valuation and risk assessment: The ability to analyze collateral valuations, assess associated risks, and implement strategies to mitigate those risks. 

Knowledge of regulatory requirements: Understanding and compliance with relevant regulations related to collateral management.
