Your new role
As the Associate Director, Real World Evidence, you will drive the development and execution of Real World Evidence Strategy and Evidence and Insights Generation Plans (EIGP) across all therapeutic area portfolios. In this role, you will report to the Head of Medical and Regulatory Affair and will be a member of the Medical and Regulatory Leadership Team. This is a people manager role; three team members will report to you. Some of your specific responsibilities will include:
Provide strategic alignment of clinical and real-world data resources with business objectives. Support business cases for innovative solutions through presentations to management. Lead and manage local studies, including RWE, clinical, and observational investigator-sponsored studies (ISS). Manage and develop a team; set priorities, coach performance, and build RWE capabilities. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, RWE vendors, and global counterparts, to develop and implement innovative RWE solutions. Scout and evaluate novel real-world data sources and methodologies to enhance insights and decision-making. Ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, Novo Nordisk policies, and quality standards. Provide training and education on real-world evidence and clinical data sources as needed.

Your Skills and Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
A PhD, Masters, MD, or PharmD degree in a healthcare-related field (e.g., health economics, epidemiology, outcomes research, public health, biostatistics, medicine, biomedical sciences). Strong knowledge and experience in designing innovative trials and real-world evidence studies. Good knowledge of healthcare data and applications, pharmaceutical industry and clinical research. Experience as a people manager, with direct reports. Excellent collaboration skills and proven success working in a crossfunctional and matrix environment.

Salary: for this role the Annual Base salary ranges from $159,230 to $209,230.
The placement in the salary range will be assessed during the recruitment process based on your skills, competencies, knowledge and relevant experience match the position requirements.
Incentives: based on the role’s level and other factors, the salary package may include short-term (STI) and/or long-term (LTI) incentives.
