Key Responsibilities
Leading strategy development and execution for business-critical product:
Develop & execute the strategy in partnership with the full cross-functional team to achieve annual revenue and budget targetsDrive focus on growth at national and local level based on business opportunity, removing barriers to drive uptakeAnticipate and mitigate potential risks and barriers to market success, including changes in the competitive landscape.Provide progress summaries on business performance to senior leadership, and insight-based recommendations on changes to commercial strategyKey stakeholder on launch planning & execution in IrelandDrive external focus through customer engagement including at field visits, advisory boards, and industry eventsIdentify opportunities to shape regional/local NHS/HSE strategy and guidelines to enhance the patient pathwayDelivering financial commitments within disease area:
Accountable for fully-loaded P&L, forecast and budget for the full cross-functional teamPractice agile & dynamic resourcing across functions based on business needMake strategic choices for Brand P&L to grow top and bottom lineInstitutionalizing a leadership culture of high performance and inclusion:
Lead cross-functional team, creating an environment that fosters accountability, innovation, learning, knowledge sharing and constructive disagreement, to deliver business objectivesFoster collaboration and communication across departments and external partners.Line-manage a team of marketers, fostering an environment for learning and development of team members based on their needs, motivations and business requirementsPartner with sales managers, to ensure strategy execution to achieve financial targets Work with European and Worldwide teams to ensure alignment with strategyMake decisions with appropriate balance of alignment, risk, speed and rigorChampion innovation within team and ensure experience sharing across the organization.Qualifications
10+ years experience in commercial leadership within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.Extensive experience in driving performance and execution through a strong strategic plan, and responding to market changesExperience developing and executing launch plansLeadership experience in selecting, leading, developing, motivating & achieving results through teams.Desired : Experience in specialized medicinesDemonstrated commercial acumen with a track record of successful market strategies.Strong understanding of the UK and Ireland healthcare system and regulatory environment.Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skillsWorking with or managing a P&LExtensive experience in driving performance and execution through a strong strategic plan.Effective communication and interpersonal skills.#LI-Hybrid

On-site Protocol
BMS has an occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role:
Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
