What is the opportunity?
The Associate Director, Fund Distribution & Platforms will be responsible for managing and optimising relationships with investment platforms across the UK, Europe and Asia. Reporting to the Director, Fund Distribution, this role will be responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of fund distribution and platform agreements, fee structures, management fee rebate, and supporting sales enablement. The role will play a key part in enhancing and simplifying platform visibility and complexity to support overall business growth at RBC BlueBay.
RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
Platform relationships management, act as the key point of contact for investment platforms, ensuring strong partnerships and seamless operational execution. Commercial and agreement oversight, negotiate and manage platform distribution agreements, ensuring competitive and compliance fee structures.Fee rebate management, oversee rebate calculation and fee reconciliations to ensure accurate financial oversight and reporting.Operational efficiency and data management, work with Fund Distribution team and Fund Investor Operations team to streamline platform processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance reporting capabilitiesSales enablement, support sales team by providing insights into platform dynamics, product positioning, and market access opportunities.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure operational processes are aligned with EMEA APAC business goals.Stay informed on industry trends and identify best practices to enhance platform operations, efficiency, and scalability. Utilise technology driven solutions to improve operational processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and support scalability through automation and system enhancements.Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows, enhance efficiency and mitigate operational risks.Provide leadership to team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and priorities to achieve efficiencies.What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Knowledge of the financial services industry, segregated assets and UCITs funds and products.Hands-on experience working with investment platforms with a strong understanding of platform operations, fee structures, and distribution dynamics.Strong oral and written communication skills - confidence to effectively interface at all levels of the firm.Highly organised and detail-oriented; ability to multitask in fast-paced environment.What’s in it for you?
