**What You'll Do**
We’re looking for an Associate Dental Director to join our Dental Claims team. In this role, you’ll provide dental expertise for claim analysis, consistent with departmental and corporate standards and contributing to the growth and profitability of the Specialty Benefits Division.Conduct dental claim analysis, ensuring consistency with the departmental philosophy, as well as the company's goals and objectives.
+ Remain current on dental trends and developments and their impact on the insurance industry. Continue dental education to increase knowledge of the dental insurance field and general dental practices. Sign off on dental clinical guidelines annually.
+ Assist with the training and dental education of claims analysts & claim personnel, the field force, and other staff and employees of the company. Participate in company meetings and committees to increase knowledge important to the goals and objectives of the company.
+ Be an active participant in industry associations and activities to obtain a broad knowledge of industry issues and challenges – specifically the American Dental Association & National Association of Dental Plans.
+ Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required. 5%

**Who You Are**
+ Graduate of an accredited medical school, having obtained a DDS or DMD
+ Five years of dental/clinical background
+ Current active dental license in good standing is required
+ Licensed specifically in the state of Texas and Missouri is preferred. If candidate is not licensed in those states, candidate needs the ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.
+ Must participate in continuing education
+ Some overnight travel may be required
**Salary Range Information**
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
**Salary Range (Non-Exempt expressed as hourly; Exempt expressed as yearly)**
$141000 - $191000 / year
**Time Off Program**
Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.

This role offers an in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangement in Des Moines, IA.
