Boeing seeking a highly experienced Oracle Database Administrator to support Oracle databases running in Azure environment. This role will focus on installation, basic configuration, routine administration, troubleshooting, and supporting cloud migration activities.

This role will be based out of Bangalore, India.

Position Responsibilities:

Install and configure Oracle database software and related components in Azure IAAS/OCI deployment models.Perform routine database administration: user and schema management, tablespace administration, and patching.Monitor database health and respond to alerts; perform basic performance diagnostics and remediation.Support backup and recovery operations and validate restore procedures.Troubleshoot connectivity and common operational issues; escalate complex issues to senior DBAs.Assist with cloud migration tasks: schema/data migration validation and environment provisioning support.Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, runbooks, and troubleshooting steps.Participate in on-call support activities as required.Participate in Audit related discussion and provide necessary support. This may include logs and other technical documentation.Collaborate with application developers, system administrators and senior DBAs to support production systems.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION.Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.Up to 5 years of hands-on Oracle database administration experience.Working knowledge of Oracle architecture, SQL and PL/SQL.Experience with backup/recovery procedures and basic performance tuning.Familiarity with Oracle security concepts (roles, privileges, auditing).Experience working in cloud environments, preferably Azure (IAAS).Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to follow runbooks and escalation procedures.Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Oracle certification(s) (e.g., OCA/OCP) is a plus.Experience with scripting (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, or Python) to automate routine tasks.Familiarity with database monitoring tools (OEM, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.).Experience with Azure Oracle IAAS deployment and tooling.

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor’s) and typically 5+ years of related work experience or Master’s Degree with 4+ years of related work experience etc.).
