Associate Credit Representative
Seeking an Associate Credit Representative in the Southern St. Paul Area! Job Description As an Associate Credit Representative, you will demonstrate urgency in resolving issues with associates, as well as internal and external customers. You will establish strong working relationships with corporate account sales management teams and customer contacts, both internally and externally. Developing a deep knowledge of customer payment processes and adhering to company and department policies and procedures are key aspects of this role. You will achieve individual objectives related to aged receivables, DSO, account management, and SLA’s by utilizing effective time management skills. Responsibilities + Respond to incoming communications, including emails, inbound calls from customers and field associates, and direct mail. + Initiate outbound collection efforts for managed cross-divisional customers via phone and email. + Utilize knowledge of Credit systems to identify and resolve complex customer account issues, including disputes, unapplied cash, reconciliation, and refunds. + Engage effectively with the Sales Team on critical business decisions related to account management, orders, collection, and placement. + Use critical decision-making skills to ensure orders are approved or held to maintain corporate relationships while balancing risk. + Research disputes and invoice issues, supporting dispute identification and resolution processes. + Provide customers with aging and supporting documents to maximize collections. + Document understanding of customer-specific processes, such as payment processes, approval structures, account history, portal restrictions, and risk profiles. Essential Skills + Customer service experience + Collection skills + Analytical skills + Credit management expertise + 4+ years of collections and/or credit experience Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's Degree highly preferred Work Environment The role will be hybrid, with 60% of the time spent in the office and 40% working remotely. The office is located on a massive campus, providing ample space and resources. The team mainly works in the office from Monday to Wednesday, with the option to work from home on Thursday and Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
