The role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented ServiceNow ITAM Associate consultant to lead and manage daily IT Asset Management operations. This role is critical in ensuring software license compliance, optimizing license usage, and maintaining accurate entitlement records within the ServiceNow ITAM platform. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM modules and will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality outcomes, support audit readiness, and drive continuous improvement across ITAM processes
Key Responsibilites :
Lead day-to-day ITAM operations, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery.Plan and prioritize tasks to meet project goals and promote adoption of ITAM solutions.Continuously monitor software license compliance and support both external audits and internal self-verification.Conduct regular software licensing risk assessments and provide actionable insights.Implement software metering and monitoring to track overconsumption, utilization, and long-term trends.Drive license optimization initiatives, including re-harvesting, reclamation rule reviews, and cost-benefit analysis.Manage end-to-end uninstallation processes for blacklisted software.Define and implement escalation processes for license compliance and operational issues.Maintain and verify entitlements and licensing records in ServiceNow, ensuring data integrity and completeness.Monitor license compliance and proactively notify stakeholders of potential risks.Manage Effective Licensing Position (ELP) and ensure alignment with entitlement data.Oversee license delivery, including secure storage of license keys and documentation.Reconcile automatic software installations with entitlement records.Track and manage licensing documentation, including changes and transfers.Develop and maintain process documentation, training materials, and user guidance.
What we need to see from you
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven expertise with ServiceNow ITAM, specifically SAM Pro.Experience with Normalization Data Services configuration.Knowledge of Software and Hardware Asset Management lifecycle.Familiarity with Procurement and Contract Management.Proven experience integrating SAM tools (e.g., Flexera, Snow, SCCM) with ServiceNow.Strong understanding of software asset lifecycle, license models, and compliance.Experience with ServiceNow Discovery, CMDB, and normalization processes.Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular, HTML/CSS, and Jelly.ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – SAM or ITAM; CSAM certifications
