Associate Construction Manager
Associate Construction Manager Job Description Support field-based construction management activities on large industrial and infrastructure projects, assisting with subcontractor coordination, documentation, and daily project execution. Perform back-office construction management functions including submittals, RFIs, bid leveling, and field documentation. Initially, spend approximately two-thirds of the time in the office and one-third in the field, with increased field exposure over time. Support high-risk work planning and documentation under the direction of construction managers. Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) or similar platforms for reporting and document control. Assist with safety, quality, schedule, and scope oversight, primarily working on-site and supporting outdoor field activities in all weather conditions. Essential Skills + 1–5 years of experience in construction, engineering, utilities, environmental, or related fields. + Exposure to industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects. + Computer skills and comfort working in construction management software (ACC, Procore, etc.). + Ability to read and interpret construction drawings with guidance. + Effective communication skills and willingness to learn field leadership fundamentals. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Degree not required; trade, technical, or hands-on construction experience + OSHA 10 preferred; OSHA 30 a plus or willingness to obtain. + Experience with safety, permitting, scheduling, excavation, hazardous waste remediation, and contractor oversight. + Experience with construction documentation (submittals, RFIs, bid leveling). + Willingness to work outdoors year-round. Work Environment The position is based out of a construction trailer on-site. The typical workday starts around 6:30 AM with reviewing permits and daily work plans, spending the majority of the day in the field directly overseeing contractor work. The position requires exposure to all weather conditions throughout the year, with a typical end of the day around 3:00 PM. Flexibility for extended hours, outages, or weekend work is needed as required. Occasional on-call or weekend support may be required for site conditions such as weather-related inspections. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blue Bell, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58.86 - $89.15/hr.
