Position Responsibilities:
Aircraft mechanical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of partsRequires broad knowledge of aircraft sheet metal/structural modifications and repair, must have composite repair experienceReceives technical guidance from supervisor or higher-level technicianEnter relevant data in aircraft logs and records.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in an aircraft composite repair role3+ years of experience in aircraft mechanical composite component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts3+ years of experience in aircraft structural modifications and repair3+ years of experience with aircraft tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, micro bonder, vacuum gauges, heat blankets3+ years of experience with aerospace technical publications3+ years of experience with prioritizing workloads to maintain schedules on assigned projectsAbility to work variable shifts (i.e. scheduled and unscheduled overtime; weekends and holidays) to support mission requirements and workloadPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience presenting to leadership, internal and external customersExperience with developing and maintaining partnerships with customers, stakeholders and peersThe position requires the ability to pass an assessment at the end of training cycle
