The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking novice level Information Systems Security Professionals across the country to support information systems lifecycle activities

What You’ll Get to Do:

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. This is achieved through passive evaluations such as compliance audits and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments.Establish strict program control processes to ensure mitigation of risks and support obtaining certification and accreditation of systems.Support process analysis, project coordination, security certification tests, security documentation, as well as investigations, software research, hardware introduction and release, emerging technology research inspections and periodic audits.Assist in the implementation of the required government policy (i.e., NISPOM, DAAPM), make recommendations on process tailoring, and participate in and document process activities.Perform analyses to validate established security requirements and to recommend additional security requirements and safeguards.Support the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) required by each government accrediting authority through pre-test preparations, participation in the tests, analysis of the results and preparation of required reports.Document the results of Assessment and Authorization activities and technical or coordination activity and prepare the system Security Plans and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones POA&M.Periodically conduct a complete review of each system's audits and monitor corrective actions until all actions are closed.Interface with Government customers and Northrop Grumman leadership on program initiatives and deliver status updates.Maintain and lead multiple complex efforts with multiple stakeholders and drive Cybersecurity requirements to further program initiatives.

This position’s standard work schedule is 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

Basic Qualifications: 

Master’s or Bachelor's degree with 0 years of relevant technical experience; OR an Associate’s degree with 2 years of relevant technical experience; OR a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant technical experience is requiredCurrent DoD 8570 IAM level I equivalent (or higher) security certification (Examples: CND, Cloud+, Security+ CE) is requiredCandidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered 

Preferred Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, a Security+ CE, and 1 year of experience with Certification & Accreditation of classified systems under RMF (Risk Management Framework)Experience enforcing guidelines, monitoring policies, and enforcing standards for Cybersecurity frameworks and industry best practices supporting National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publication (SP) 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD RMFDetail oriented with experience tracking project progress and statusAbility to solve complex problems with a mindset on cybersecurity complianceExperience coordinating with a team to review and document information system changesExperience and working knowledge and understanding of auditing, vulnerability scanning/remediation, SIEMs, DISA STIGs, and configuration/change controlStrong verbal and written communication skills to produce coherent and concise documentation required for evaluationActive Top Secret would be nice to have

Primary Level Salary Range: $63,900.00 - $95,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
