Now Hiring: Associate Brand Manager – Foodservice Focus (Chicago, IL) We’re looking for a dynamic Associate Brand Manager with strong experience in foodservice marketing to join our operator marketing team in Chicago. This role is ideal for someone who understands the pulse of their city—its culinary trends, chef communities, and major food-focused events—and knows how to bring national brands to life with a local twist. This role specifically requires a deep understanding of the foodservice operator landscape. We're looking for someone with a culinary mindset who can connect authentically with chefs, restaurateurs, and foodservice professionals. Candidates with limited marketing experience—such as those focused solely on email campaigns—may not be the right fit. This position demands a comprehensive marketing skillset, including the ability to develop and execute holistic campaigns that span digital, social, and experiential channels. The ideal candidate will be both strategic and creative, capable of building immersive brand experiences that resonate locally. Qualifications 4-year College Degree in marketing, business or culinary 3+ years of experience in foodservice or relevant corporate; experience in sales a plus Proven track record of developing relationships in cross-functional teams and comfortable in engaging with customers Strong project management, presentation skills and business acumen Proficiency and drive to become a proficient user of our systems (Salesforce.com, Power BI) Passion for driving results with a strong interest in the food industry. Description Who You Are & What You’ll Do: The Associate Operator Marketing Manager – Citadels will be a part of the Go-to-Market team responsible for growth in designated Citadels. You will work collaboratively with sales & culinary to deliver value-add solutions to small restaurant chains, focusing on hyper-local insights, relevancy of content, and the city-specific foodservice scene. You will be responsible for the end-to-end operator journey, and you will be accountable for delivering business targets in the city and zone. Hyper-Local Insights on key operator groups Deep understanding of foodservice landscape in designated city to identify actionable insights Hyper-local focus to understand the foodservice scene, menus, competitor base and consumer make-up in designated cities Ability to translate insights into execution plan, with end-to-end responsibility from design to landing in marketplace Demand Creation: Small Restaurant Chains Localize master brand campaign content to develop tools and assets that the sales team can use to drive demand with their target customers Collaborate with culinary team to deliver regionalized menu inspiration Create operator group specific content that can be leveraged across digital touchpoints to drive demand generation Support efforts to increase contactable operator database Operator Engagement Identify local foodservice events & activities where our client should have a presence and develop 360 plan to maximize opportunity, from objectives of participation all the way through to execution with end to end responsibility Collaborate across marketing (digital, trade) to ensure consistency in messaging in key Citadels and relevancy of content for target operator group. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
