Position Summary

This role will be responsible for checking the accuracy and completeness of the ETL process by validating the data sources, checking the precision of data extraction, applying the data transformation and processing logic, and ensuring high quality of data loaded in the data warehouse and BI dashboards.

Job Responsibilities Involve in Requirement discussion and provide inputs from quality engineering perspective during discussions with onshore/client. Estimate effort for quality engineering team, as per understanding of scope and requirements. Prepare detailed Test Strategy which includes testing approach and timeline. Able to write TC's based on Requirement/Use cases/FRD/BRD. Create ETL and BI Test Scripts in SQL and other relevant coding language, as per project’s technology stack. Upload Test Cases in Test Management tool, as applicable for the project. Able to work in Agile mode and ready to accept last minute changes. Understand test prioritization and execute test cases. Able to raise defects in defect management tool like JIRA. Identifying the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests. Work with onshore/client stakeholders for review and approval of Test Strategy and Test Scenarios. Prepare test data, as applicable for approved test cases. Lead STLC project tasks as per defined process and quality standards; assess and raise risk/issues in testing. Timely report testing status with different stakeholders. Work in fast paced development environment, interacting with project owners, business analysts, testers, developers, and stakeholders across internal / client organisation to ensure timely triaging, resolution and re-testing of defects. Maintain testing assets at SharePoint location (Test Cases, Test Strategy, etc). Validate NFRs (performance, security, etc.) of the in scope solution. Setup automation process for test execution, as applicable for the project. Education BE/B.TechMaster of Computer ApplicationWork Experience 6-9 years of relevant experience in ETL/DWH Testing, with strong exposure to database and data warehouse testing. Expertise in scripting languages like SQL, HQL, Shell scripting. Developed ETL test scripts based on design / technical specifications and Source to Target mappings. Experience in working on Cloud and Big Data technology stack. Testing experience on any of the BI tools like PowerBI, MicroStrategy, Tableau, Qlik Sense will be preferred. Experience in at least 1 defect management tool is MUST. (JIRA, BugZilla, ALM etc). Excellent in communication i.e. able to articulate and convey thoughts correctly. Ready to communicate with onshore and customer if required. Good Understanding of Pharma business processes like alignment, market definition, segmentation, sales crediting, activity metrics calculation; calculation of all sales, activity and managed care KPIs will be added advantage. Working knowledge of AI/ML projects, with good understanding of Generative AI Testing, will be preferred. Working knowledge of Reltio, with hands-on experience in MDM testing, will be preferred. Self-starter, ability to work with minimal supervision, pick up new solutions quickly & ability to work under pressure. Energetic and ability to contribute to organization beyond assigned work.
