Location

Hybrid role based in Hammond, Indiana, with a mix of in-office collaboration and work-from-home flexibility.

Note

Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Indiana and have 5+ years of relevant litigation experience, including deposition experience.

Job Description

Independently manage a litigation caseload from start to finish Attend hearings in various counties and courthouses Drive deadlines, case strategy, and next steps across active matters Research and analyze statutes, rules, regulations, and case law to support litigation strategy Assist with document review and case development as needed Work across practice areas including insurance coverage, construction, bodily injury, professional malpractice, and mass torts

Qualifications

Active Indiana Bar license in good standing (Illinois license preferred) 5+ years of relevant defense litigation experience Deposition experience required Proven ability to manage a caseload independently Strong legal writing skills and ability to provide writing samples Strong organization, communication, and analytical skills
