Job Description
Serve as primary handling attorney on civil litigation defense cases Manage all stages of litigation including discovery, depositions, court appearances, mediations, and pre-trial preparation Collaborate with partners and clients to strategize on case development and resolution Prepare legal documents including motions and correspondence Participate in occasional trial preparation and proceedings Communicate regularly with clients to provide case updates Utilize a legal assistant for administrative supportQualifications
Must be licensed to practice law in California At least 1 year of civil litigation experience (plaintiff or defense side) Strong written and verbal communication skills Experience with court rules, calendaring, and civil procedure in state and federal courts Ability to manage caseload independently and meet billable hour requirementsWhy This Is a Great Opportunity
