Collegiate Sports The Associate Head Athletic Trainer provides comprehensive athletic training services to University of Maine student-athletes, assists in the operation of the Sports Medicine Center, and teaches undergraduate courses in athletic training and/or kinesiology. Typical hiring range for this position is $58,000 to $60,500 commensurate with qualifications and experience.
Required:
Bachelor’s Degree. Must meet State of Maine AT licensure standards. NATA Certified. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Computer proficiency. Previous experience using independent judgment and managing and imparting confidential information.Preferred:
Master’s Degree 2 years as a collegiate athletic trainer, preferably at NCAA Division I level. Graduate assistantships and internships will be acceptable with years of experience. Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds.
