We are seeking a talented individual to join Marsh TCPR Team. This role will be based in Shanghai / Guangzhou / Shenzhen. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the China insurance industry including knowledge and understanding of Credit Insurance and a strong network of insurance and relevant industry contacts. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
We will count on you to:
Develop and maintain deep client relationships by understanding their business models, credit risk exposures, and strategic objectives.Identify, assess, and document client and prospect credit insurance needs and requirements.Manage the business pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and prioritizing credit insurance opportunities aligned with company strategy.Lead the preparation and development of Request for Proposal (RFP) documentation to ensure market solutions meet client credit risk management needs.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with insurance carriers and reinsurers to secure competitive, customized credit insurance solutions and service standards.Design and present comprehensive credit insurance programs, including risk assessment, product structuring, pricing, and risk transfer mechanisms.Collaborate closely with internal teams such as underwriting, claims, legal, and actuarial to ensure seamless delivery of credit insurance solutions.Conduct market research and competitive analysis to align product offerings with evolving credit risk trends and client requirements.Drive cross-functional initiatives to enhance product innovation, client satisfaction, and business growth in the credit insurance segment.Support the launch and implementation of new credit insurance programs and projects, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards.What you need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Insurance, Finance, Business, or a related discipline.Minimum 8 years of experience in the insurance industry, with significant exposure to credit insurance, trade credit risk, or related financial risk products.Proven track record in managing B2B credit insurance portfolios, including experience with credit risk assessment, underwriting, and claims management.Strong understanding of credit risk factors, trade finance, and economic conditions impacting credit insurance markets.Experience working with insurance carriers, brokers, and reinsurers to negotiate and structure credit insurance solutions.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to credit insurance.Excellent project management skills, with experience leading new product launches or program implementations.Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.Ability to work collaboratively across internal teams and with external partners to drive business results.What makes you outstanding:
