Your role will reflect our shared goal of enhancing health care delivery and building healthier, more vibrant communities. **About the Opportunity** Mobile Enrollment Vehicle (MEV) Outreach Representative is responsible for membership growth in strategic target areas, identifying eligible members and enrolling them in Medicaid, Child Health Plus, Essential Plan, Qualified Health Plans (QHPs), and HARP as permitted under federal and state guidelines. Provides guidance on plan benefits and care tailoring those to customer needs. Conducts individual and group territory development activities throughout the assigned regions and conducts public presentations on MVP products to ensure plan visibility and receive feedback. Partners with Field Marketing and Community Engagement Representatives to drive growth from events in assigned territories, including but not limited to health fairs, community expos, festivals, holiday-themed events, and medical provider events. Mobile Enrollment Vehicle (MEV) Outreach Representative must provide fair and impartial information to individual consumers regarding coverage options available through the NY State of Health Marketplace. Responsible for developing and maintaining positive relationships with community-based organizations, medical provider partners, and community contacts within assigned territory. Accountable for targeted generation of qualified leads and referrals and their timely conversion. Creates and maintains individual prospect database files including information regarding name, address, phone number, documentation, and other required data for assigned territory. Completes internal management reports as requested. **What You’ll Do** + You will be responsible for safely driving and operating the Mobile Enrollment Vehicle (MEV) throughout the region, traveling to various community events and organizations. In this role, you will engage directly and in-person with underserved populations to provide enrollment assistance. + You will maintain sanitation standards by sanitizing all surfaces daily, properly disposing of waste, and organizing supplies and equipment in the Mobile Enrollment Vehicle (MEV) according to the MEV checklist. + Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events, presentations, meetings, etc. + Ability to lift/transport heavy promotional materials up to 30 lbs. (brochures, giveaways etc.) is required. + You will serve as a mobile resource to ensure that each prospect/enrollee understands the product benefits, policies, and procedures by providing clear, complete, and accurate information. + It is essential to qualify each prospect according to departmental and federal guidelines and meet accessibility and quality goals, such as average speed of answer and abandonment rate. + Documenting complete and accurate prospect records and processing all appointments, registrations, and request for information in CRM. + Meeting individual and team membership goals is crucial, as is following company and federal sales and marketing guidelines in all interactions with prospects. + You will collaborate with both internal and external teams to further strengthen MVP Health Care’s mission. + Other duties as assigned by leadership **.** **Skills and Experience** + **Education, Licensures, & Certifications** + Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and directly related experience. + Valid and clean NYS Driver’s license + **Years of Experience (Required & Preferred)** + Two years in sales, customer service, health care (hospital, medical office, health insurance) industries required. + Experience in positions where adherence to strict confidentiality is required. + Healthcare/Health Insurance experience preferred. + **Required Job Skills** + Strong effective written and verbal communication skills. + Excellent sales and customer service skills, accountability and follow-through. + Must possess good problem-solving capabilities. + Customer Relationship Management data system fluency desired. + Must have the ability to communicate with a diverse clientele in a compassionate, fair, and accurate manner. + Must be self-directed, confident, and able to flex communication and presentation skills to the needs of the consumers they are serving. + Must demonstrate time management and project planning skills. + Ability to work independently, with little direct supervision, along with ability to work in a team. + A high level of personal integrity and the ability to always represent the company in a professional and courteous manner, both internally and externally. + Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite. + Must obtain Certified Application Counselor (CAC), also referred to as Plan Assistor or NYS Market Place Facilitated Enroller, certification within 90 days of hire. + **Preferred Job Skills** + Bilingual (Spanish preferred). + Experience working for a health insurance company is strongly preferred. + Broad-based knowledge of a variety of insurance plans (government and commercial plans) strongly preferred. **Positional Clarifications** + Client Interactions + Local Travel + Sales Environment + Community Events **Worksite Designation** + Hybrid; local daily travel **Pay Transparency** MVP Health Care is committed to providing competitive employee compensation and benefits packages. The base pay range provided for this role reflects our good faith compensation estimate at the time of posting. MVP adheres to pay transparency nondiscrimination principles.
