Job Summary
As an Associate within the Global Supplier Services team, you will be responsible to support our global Category Management team and define category strategy and executing long-term category plans, foster relationships spanning cross functional business stakeholders and manage key supplier relationships. You will support the management of the category and the unique reporting and comparative analysis needs.
Job responsibilities:
Collaborate well with internal stakeholders to understand their IT Project Services needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies that drive client success and business results.
Collaborate with aligned Category Management to establish, identify, and refine process improvements and relationship management (both internal and external).
Building and maintain professional relationships with vendors and ensuring vendor performance meets organizational standards.
Update, maintain and create procedural guidelines, SharePoint sites and resource documents.
Identify opportunities educate the business on souring Services and Contingent Labor Best Practices
Ensure compliance and utilization of strategic programs and adherence to executed agreements including pricing, processes and policies.
Partner with ITPS team to intake requirements, qualify and define opportunities for reporting requirements.
Apply analysis and trends to global sourcing category operations support.
Consistently demonstrate a high level of professionalism in behavior and performance.
Focus on continuous learning regarding sourcing best practices through partnership with a variety of internal teams and gain experience in global sourcing systems.
Maintaining emphasis on Communication, Mailbox & Vendor Management System dashboard management.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:
5+ years of experience or equivalent work in Sourcing and Procurement
Knowledge of Professional Services/Contingent Workforce/Labor Sourcing best practices within a centralized sourced model, including exposure to supply chain and demand management planning
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey procurement strategies, updates, and results to stakeholders and team members.
Knowledge of the key aspects of the RFI/RFP/RFQ and sourcing process
Technology or Clerical & Professional - Contingent Workforce/ Professional Services Sourcing experience.
Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, understanding of how to effectively use
Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced and complex environment, working in very strong collaborative team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
