Join MUFG, where being inspired is expected and making a meaningful impact is rewarded. **Job Summary:** This position is responsible for providing value-added service to MUFG Canada's FX clients, growing onshore FX revenues, and trading and managing FX positions within delegated limits. This role is Hybrid with an in-office expectation of 4 days per week. Responsibilities: 1. FX Sales activities • Provide primary and backup FX sales coverage to MUFG’s Canadian client base • Build relationships with existing and new FX clients to drive FX sales revenues • Collaborate with relationship managers, product partners and other key stakeholders to cross-sell other products • Follow global financial markets closely in order to provide value-added service to clients; write market commentaries and make presentations 2. FX Trading activities • Execute FX trades within prescribed limits • Manage foreign currency nostro account balances 3. Reporting and Administration • Produce daily FX reports for compliance, middle office, PNL reporting etc. • Assist in driving efficiencies in FX operations 4. Compliance and Risk control • Comply with the FX Global Code, MUFG Code of Conduct, and applicable Canadian and non-Canadian laws and regulations which apply to FX and derivatives sales and trading • Control risk position within delegated risk limit in accordance with policies, procedures and accepted practices Work Experience: • 3 to 5 years experience, preferably in foreign exchange sales Skills and Experience: Functional / Technical Competencies: Essential Competencies: • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong English written and verbal communication skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Strong communication and relationship management skills • Attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to remain calm under pressure Preferred Competencies: • Proficiency in PowerBI • VBA programming skills • Japanese language skills (written, verbal) Education / Qualifications: • Bachelor's Degree or above • Education or training in finance, either through degree program or through other professional designations such as CFA, etc. The job description and related application pertains to an opportunity with either MUFG Bank, Ltd., Canada Branch (“MUFG Bank Canada”) or MUFG Securities (Canada), Ltd.
