What you will need to be successful in this role:
BS Degree in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred) or extensive experience and training in their respective area of expertise to be determined equivalent.Two or more years of engineering experience.Understanding of standard engineering drawing convention.Knowledge of the Federal Aviation Regulations (FARs – from Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations) as they apply to transport category aircraft.Familiarity with the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) process and the FAA Airworthiness Directive (AD) process and rules governing disposition.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, preferably those created by Boeing, Airbus and Douglas and be familiar with the documents needed to routinely maintain commercial aircraft; Structural Repair Manual (SRM), Aircraft Maintenance Manual (AMM), Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), etc.Ability to analyze Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) source documents (Service Bulletins, Service Letters, etc.) and make independent decisions based on analysis of available data regarding incorporation on Customer’s fleet.Ability to quickly learn and adhere to Operator’s specific processes and procedures.Project Management skills; multi-tasking.The rewards of your career at AAR go far beyond just your salary:

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $56,500 to $70,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location.
