Position location: You will be able to work remotely from your home location in the _United States_ **PURPOSE AND SCOPE:** The Corporate Development Associate responsibilities will include supporting the identification and execution of inorganic growth opportunities, including M&A and strategic partnership activities, in collaboration with the leadership of Fresenius Medical Care. **PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** Sourcing and Pipeline Management + Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies in markets that are strategic to Fresenius and its portfolio. + Research and analyze business opportunities consistent with the company's short- and long-range objectives and strategic plans + Conduct multi-axis competitive landscape mapping and analysis + Participating in introductory sourcing meetings and calls + Track and prioritize potential investment pipeline Due Diligence and Deal Execution + Supports the evaluation of projects through market research and financial models using internal and external data, third-party resources, collaborating with internal company management and personnel and external advisors + Participates in due diligence process and diligence teams + Provides benchmark comparable analysis of M&A exits, investment valuations, clinical trials and regulatory review timelines + Assists in the preparation of investment committee diligence deliverables + Supports post-deal integration work Other + Review and comply with the Code of Business Conduct and all applicable company policies and procedures, local, state and federal laws and regulations. + Assist with various projects as assigned by a direct supervisor + Other duties as assigned **_Additional responsibilities may include focus on one or more departments or locations.
