We are seeking a highly skilled **Finance Shared Services** **Associate** **Manager** to oversee and guide our Financial Shared Services team. In this leadership role, you will manage daily operations across global payroll and accounting functions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency. You will provide direction to analysts, coordinate complex reconciliations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our shared services model.
**A typical day might include the following:**
+ Act as the escalation point for complex issues, ensuring resolution and stakeholder satisfaction
+ Oversee reconciliations between enterprise systems and external vendor systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance
+ Lead preparation and reconciliation of data templates supporting payroll processing across multiple global countries
+ Ensure consistent execution of accounting and payroll procedures across the Shared Services framework
+ Review and approve reports and documentation prepared for audits and compliance reviews
+ Enforce governance practices, ensuring adherence to internal controls and external regulations
+ Oversee the development and maintenance of documentation, mappings, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
+ Serve as a key contact during audits, providing leadership and accountability for deliverables
+ Identify and lead efficiency, automation, and process improvement initiatives across FSS operations
+ Promote best practices and standardization across global teams
**This job might be for you if you:**
+ 6-8+years of accounting experience
+ Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and finance (B.Com, BBM, M.Com, MBA or equivalent) is required.
+ Proficiency in working with accounting systems and IT.
+ Experience handling large data sets.
+ Strong numerical intuition, analytical skills, and the ability to quickly identify errors.
+ Experience in payroll or payroll accounting is helpful but not essential.
+ Experience in designing or implementing accounting systems or ERP is advantageous.
+ Experience in process improvements and automation projects is beneficial but not required.
+ Experience working in a cross-functional environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
+ Experience in a multicultural setting, with regular communication with overseas colleagues.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
+ An inquisitive nature and readiness to challenge individuals, including cost center owners and HR managers.
+ Preference for candidates with accounting certifications.
+ Strong administrative and organizational abilities.
+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including vlookups, pivot tables, etc.).
+ High level of confidentiality and discretion.
+ Good interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
+ Strong interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
+ Flexibility and eagerness to learn.
+ Proactive and curious nature.
