Our client, a leader in educational support services, is seeking an Assistive Technology SME Contractor to join their team. As an Assistive Technology SME Contractor, you will be part of the Accessibility Center supporting initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative spirit which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Assistive Technology SME Contractor
**Location: Remote**
**Pay Range: Competitive market rates**
**What's the Job?**
+ Develop content for micro courses delivered in the clients learning management system covering effective assistive technology topics.
+ Create training materials to support community college employees in implementing processes that enhance student success.
+ Evaluate campus assistive technology capabilities and measure effectiveness.
+ Conduct thorough assessments of assistive technology tools, software, and hardware.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with accessibility initiatives and compliance with relevant laws.
**What's Needed?**
+ RESNA Certified (ATP) with expertise in assistive technology.
+ Experience in content creation for training and self-paced courses.
+ Familiarity with various assistive technologies used at the community college level.
+ Effective writing, presentation, and communication skills.
+ Ability to analyze and critically review information related to digital accessibility.
