The Assistant Volleyball Coach at the University of Michigan will work directly with the Head Coach to develop and maintain a competitive NCAA Division I volleyball program while upholding the university's commitment to academic and athletic excellence. And will assist with the day-to-day training and preparation of volleyball student-athletes and in the recruiting of prospective volleyball student-athletes. The Assistant Coach will prioritize the mental, physical and academic well-being of student-athletes in all team activities.

Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university. Thorough knowledge of NCAA rules and intercollegiate athletics. Demonstrated success in recruiting and developing student-athletes Excellence in technical volleyball instruction and player development Must work with and communicate effectively with all team members and support staff within Michigan Athletics and the UM community. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must possess excellent computer and technical skills. Ability to travel on a regular basis for recruiting and team travel. Organize recruiting visits and manages prospect communications. Develop scouting reports and game plans using VolleyStation and VolleyMetrics.
