Job Description:
The Assistant Vice President, Credit Service Representative serves as a Facility Agent, responsible for managing and overseeing the servicing and operational aspects of syndicated and bilateral loan facilities. This role ensures accurate execution of loan transactions, compliance with governing agreements, and timely resolution of issues, while providing exceptional support to internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
Responsibilities:
Act as the Facility Agent, manage the end-to-end daily processes for Syndicated Finance transactions, including drawdowns, rollovers, rate fixings, settlements, fee calculations, and reconciliationsProvide operational support to Front Office partners across Leveraged Finance, Leasing, Asset-Backed Lending, and Global Corporate & Investment BankingExercise sound judgment in decision-making and seek guidance when appropriateProactively identify and resolve borrower, lender, and agency-related issues within the assigned portfolioCoordinate and execute loan closings for new deals and amendments in collaboration with internal and external stakeholdersSkills:
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance or a related discipline3–5 years of hands-on experience in facility agency functions or lending operationsStrong understanding of credit products, the syndication process, and governing documentation, including complex agreementsFamiliarity with Loan IQ is an advantageFoundational understanding of commercial credit agreements and syndicated lending is advantageousExperience in project management and/or possession of a relevant certificationStrong influencing and negotiation skills, with the ability to achieve favorable outcomesAbility to think critically and maintain a healthy level of professional skepticismCollaborative team player with accuracy and independence, demonstrating ownership and initiative to drive resultsStrong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new responsibilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate-level Excel skills preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively across all levels and functions
