About the location:
Located on the coastline of Kalo Livadi Bay, Four Seasons Resort Mykonos, will offer 94 spacious rooms, villas, and suites with exquisite views of the Aegean Sea. The brand-new build will take shape on an unspoiled 60,000 square meters of land, spanning from the sandy beaches to the picturesque coastal cliffs. To honor the culture and heritage of the destination, the Resort will be built in the Cycladic style that is synonymous with Mykonos, featuring white cubic architecture with bright spots of blue. The hotel will redefine luxury hospitality on the island. The Resort will offer an exciting variety of restaurants and bars, such as an al-fresco pool-side Italian venue, an authentic Mykonian Kafeneio, a contemporary steak house, and a vibrant beach club. In year 2, this will be supplemented with a Marina.About the role
Our ideal Assistant Stewarding Manager will be responsible to supports the Stewarding Manager in all facets of the Stewarding Department.
What you will do
Supervise and participate in the cleaning, maintenance, and sanitation of china, glass, silver, kitchen equipment and kitchen production areas in accordance with production requirements and quality standards while maintaining a safe work environment.Assist the Executive Steward with the selection, training and scheduling all Stewarding department employees.Supervise and coordinate the activities of all stewards to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the department, maintain a qualified staff by identifying and controlling work relationships, areas of accountability and performance of personnel assigned as well as completing and conducting performance reviews.Ensure the proper use of and preventative maintenance of all machinery and equipment used by the Stewarding department.Ensure the neatness, cleanliness and order of all kitchens, back of the house areas, storage areas, employee dining room, Stewarding Department machinery, compactor room, carts and tables through constant monitoring and a vigorous cleaning schedule.What you bring
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in similar position preferably in a luxury or five‑star hotel environment.Proven leadership experience in managing multicultural teams.Strong understanding of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.Excellent communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
