Assistant Project Manager

Job Title: Assistant Project Manager

Job Description

This position is responsible for managing projects from the office, focusing on client relations, troubleshooting installation issues, and scheduling and dispatching technicians. The role also involves overseeing product delivery and ensuring site safety and procedures are followed.

Responsibilities

Oversee product delivery to clients.Ensure site safety and conduct training as needed.Develop and implement project schedules.Review purchase orders and sales logs daily to update schedules for crews.Manage material orders and delivery schedules.Communicate with general contractors to update on delivery and work times.Conduct daily debriefs of work performed and prepare reports.Validate and award subcontractors to perform work.Perform quality control checks on project completion.Assist in vehicle maintenance programs and GPS tracking.Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to monitor inventory.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in project management.Experience in construction and construction management.Strong customer service skills.Ability to troubleshoot and manage change orders.Experience with scheduling and dispatching.Effective client relations and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Ideally some education in construction management or a related field.Ability to interpret site drawings and blueprints.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Linthicum Heights, MD.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50000.00 - $60000.00/hr.
