Assistant Professor of Psychology, AGF
The Department of Psychology at the University of Virginia invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Psychology, general faculty, beginning August 2026. We are interested in applicants with expertise in Developmental Psychology. This is a three-year, tenure-ineligible appointment with the possibility but not the guarantee of renewal. Responsibilities will include teaching three courses per semester, including foundational classes in Child Development and related offerings. The Department is also interested in applicants who can teach laboratory (e.g., research methods) or experiential learning classes. **Minimum Qualifications.** To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, applicants should hold a PhD in developmental psychology by August 2026. **Preferred Qualifications.** Experience teaching Child Development and laboratory or experiential learning classes is preferred.
