Job Summary:
The Position:The Department of Mathematics invites applications for one tenure-track appointment at the assistant professor level. We are a vibrant, student-centered department committed to excellence in teaching and scholarship. The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate courses (three per semester) across all levels, including introductory, service, and upper-level specialty courses. We also value active engagement in research and collaborative inquiry with undergraduate students.
The Department: The department supports majors in mathematics, data science, mathematical finance, and mathematics education, with minors in mathematics and data analytics. We also contribute to a Master of Science in Business Analytics.

Salary Range: $54,000-$60,000

Qualifications:
A Ph.D. in mathematics, statistics, data science, or a closely related field is required by the time of appointment. We welcome candidates from all areas of mathematics and statistics. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, including evidence of effective instruction. A deep appreciation for the values of a liberal arts education and enthusiasm for engaging students in a broad undergraduate mathematics curriculum are essential.
