Job Summary: + Assistant Professor of Clarinet (Tenure-Track). Work Performed: + Teaching Clarinet at the undergraduate and graduate levels. + Actively recruit clarinet students. + Meet school, college and university standards in instructional responsibilities, intellectual and creative contributions, and professional service. + Teach related courses as needed to meet faculty load requirements. + Rehearse and perform with the faculty woodwind quintet. + Serve as requested on school, college, and university committees and in leadership positions in community and professional organizations. Necessary Qualifications: + Doctorate level in Clarinet performance. + Professional-level competency as clarinetist. + Evidence of successful recruiting and teaching. + The ability to creatively engage students in the studio. + Active participation in professional organizations. Preferred Qualifications: + At least two years of previous college-level teaching are preferred.
