Essential functions (job duties): Teach emergency medicine residents, medical students, and fellows. Ultrasound Faculty with responsibility for training the Fellows, Residents, and students. Participate in and support the department's academic and research activities. Participate in Point of Care Ultrasound research, including original investigation, data reviews, and publications in peer-reviewed journals. Attend CC meetings and serve on department and professional committees at the local, regional, and/or national levels. Attend WSU Department of Emergency Medicine faculty meetings and DMC sitespecific staff meetings. Attachment as Assistant EMS Fellowship Director: Assist EMS Fellowship Director, including EMS resident and student training. Serve as EMS Director and provide Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) training at HVSH Unique duties: Qualifications: MD degree and residency required. If MD degree required must have a valid Michigan medical license. Training in Emergency Medicine with a Fellowship in Emergency Medical Services.
