**Job Title: Assistant Production Planner** **Job Description** This position is responsible for supporting the production planning process to ensure efficient and effective use of resources in the manufacturing or production process. **Responsibilities** + Monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure they meet production needs. + Ensure inventory is properly tracked and managed to minimize waste and prevent stockouts. + Work closely with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and in the right quantities. + Manage relationships with suppliers to meet quality and pricing standards. + Collect and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement. + Monitor key performance indicators to ensure production goals are met. + Maintain accurate records of production schedules, inventory levels, and production data. + Ensure records are properly stored and accessible for future reference. + Communicate production schedules, inventory levels, and other important information to production staff. + Provide guidance to production staff as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency using Microsoft Windows + Proficiency working with computers + Familiarity with production planning/processes (1-2 years) **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Production planning + Administrative support + Data entry + Inventory control + Production scheduling + Microsoft Office + Supply chain management + Experience in actual production planning and scheduling **Why Work Here?** The biggest driver for working here is the opportunity to grow with the company.
