About the role:

Risk and Assurance

Strategic lead for 3rd party contracts, driving policy adherence, reinforcement of corporate policies of the entire source to contract process

Accountable for risk mitigation/resolution programs across third-party related transactions

Support the APAC Procurement Lead in the full adoption of third-party risk assurance processes, conduct training sessions with operational peers, encourage a culture of self-identification of risks

Strategic Sourcing

Accountable for the development of PAN India and South Asia sourcing and category management plans with the goal of achieving best value and the management of preferred network of suppliers

Accountable for the strategy on contract execution, enabling operations through the establishment of strong contract agreements and schedule of rates

Provides leadership and guidance to the team in the administration of sourcing initiatives (negotiations, RFPs, optimization initiatives) that are geared to meet country/regional supply chain objectives

Aligns PAN India in the SRM strategy to ensure continuous improvement

Finance and Procure to Pay

Acts as the liaison between finance and operations teams in managing supplier disputes and directs procurement teams to resolve issues

Provides strategy in ensuring suppliers adopt C&Ws vendor management/invoicing systems

Provides strategic oversight in the categorization and capture of savings executed in markets within remit

Leadership and Team Diversity

Lead campaigns that increase account awareness & conformity to the C&W & client procurement policies and procedures

Strengthens cross-border collaboration and drive towards superior outcomes, leveraging resources from C&W platform and cross-functional expertise to achieve common objectives.

Participate in all client activities with account leadership (townhalls, staff updates, diversity sessions), attend all staff sessions that provides an opportunity for constructive feedback.

Active involvement in client and C&W DE&I program​

Innovation

Provides leadership and oversight in the execution of efficiencies, smarter ways of working

Solicits and champions of innovation for third-party activities

Delivers supply chain enabled sustainable ways of working which contributes to C&Ws sustainability objectives

 Client Engagement

Acts as the main focal point Supply Chain for C&W, representing the client in engaging Principal Subcontractors

Creates/socializes reports and ensures maximum alignment on change management activities which affects the client’s portfolio

Chairs regular monthly meetings with the customer in the reporting of supply chain focused accountabilities and KPIs

About You:

Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is required.  

Proven experience as a Procurement Manager (or similar role) with at least 7 years of relevant experience.

Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing, and vendor management.

Experience in contract negotiation and management, including English language. Prior experience working in a shared services environment is a plus.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with robust global cultural awareness. Knowledge of legal and regulatory aspects of procurement globally.
