What this opportunity involves:
As the Assistant to the Portfolio Manager, you will be working on a portfolio that includes CBD and Near City mixed-use assets, and Sub- Regional Shopping Centres for a single Client.
Your key focus will be to support the Portfolio Manager to optimise the performance, (return on investment), of the properties under management.
You’ll work within a team that exclusively manages all aspects of these assets’ operations and day to day management.
A snapshot of the role:
Serve as alternate client contact and build strong tenant relationships to support retention strategiesAssist with leasing reports, fee tracking, budget preparation, and arrears managementMonitor FM performance, OpEx/CapEx reporting, risk audits, compliance dates, and WHS&E incidentsPrepare monthly management reports, ad-hoc client requests, and develop tailored policies/proceduresReview lease renewals, rent reviews, insurance expiries, and other portfolio compliance deadlinesParticipate in industry networking and provide market research to enhance property management adviceBefore you apply it’s worth knowing what we are looking for:
An excellent communicator (both written and oral).Strong attention to detail.Ability to build strong relationships quickly.Thrives in an environment of continuous learning and improvement.Team player.Excellent working knowledge of MS Office applications.A good understanding of the property management database system, MRI, and experience in MRI Budget & Forecast module is desirable.A working knowledge of trust account policies and procedures is desirable.Qld Real Estate Salesperson Certificate
