As Assistant Manager, you’ll support the Retail Branch Manager in driving store performance, inspiring your team, and delivering an exceptional experience for every customer. You’ll also have the chance to build visibility and confidence by showcasing your store’s success during regular visits from high-profile visitors.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting the Branch Manager in day-to-day operations, from front-of-house to warehouseLeading and motivating your team to deliver outstanding customer serviceManaging rotas, payroll, budgets, and stock to keep the store running smoothlyDriving performance and identifying opportunities for improvementRepresenting the store during high-profile visits and showcasing best practiceSupport multi-skilling so colleagues can flex between counter, picking, delivery support, and local outreach activities to build trade relationships and community connections.Be a team player beyond your own store by travelling to neighbouring locations when required, whether through staffing, training, or operational support Qualifications
