Assistant Manager
Key Responsibilities Broking & Administration Handle placement of Marine Shipping and Cargo insurance for simple and mid-complexity risks. Support senior brokers with administrative tasks, forecasting, CRSM, documentation, and client servicing. Ensure compliance with Aon standards, local regulations, and operational procedures. Maintain accurate records for seamless handover and audit readiness. Liaise with overseas broking centers for placement support and competitive terms. Assist in broking coordination and policy renewal processes. Collaboration Work closely with Marine Aviation team members and other teams. Participate in team meetings and contribute to operational improvement initiatives. Support the delivery of integrated solutions for clients when required. Qualifications Minimum insurance certification: AAPAI/AAAIK/ANZIIF, or similar; BNSP Level 5 preferred. Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written). Good technical knowledge in Marine Shipping and Cargo insurance. Good organizational and administrative skills. Soft Skills Team-oriented, collaborative, and proactive. We are looking for a Assistant Manager, Marine to join our Marine & Aviation team in Indonesia. Role & Responsibilities: Broking Manage placement of Marine Hull/Shipping and Cargo insurance for clients, ensuring technical excellence and compliance with Aon standards. Support the MAV team to achieve budget targets and maintain profitability, including client profitability reviews and forecasts. Liaise with overseas broking centers to facilitate placements and ensure best terms for clients. Manage key account client services, including claims management and policy renewals. Ensure all activities comply with Aon’s Code of Business Conduct, company policies, and local regulations. Maintain accurate business records and ensure seamless handover to servicing teams. Actively participate in team meetings and contribute to the delivery of the 3x3 Plan. Sales/New Business Development Identify and develop new business opportunities in Marine insurance. Manage personal opportunity and lead lists using Aon Connect and other CRM tools. Provide regular feedback and reporting to the Unit Head to ensure alignment with business targets. Develop long-term client relationships and profitable revenue growth from new and existing products/services. Ensure compliance with sales processes and branding standards. Collaborate with other teams within Aon to deliver integrated solutions to clients. Skills and experience that will lead to success Qualifications Minimum insurance certification: APAI, AAAIK, ANZIIF, or similar. BNSP Certification Level 5 preferred. Advanced English skills (spoken and written). Proven experience in Marine Hull/Shipping and preferably also Cargo insurance or other marine products. Strong understanding of both Indonesian and overseas insurance markets. Excellent teamwork, communication, and client management skills.
