We are inviting applications for Assistant Manager – Business Banking Agri Operations
Role Overview
Genpact is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Manager, Business Agri Banking Operations. This role is ideal for a customer-centric operations leader with strong expertise in Business Banking and Agri Lending Operations.
As an Operations Manager, you will lead a team of business banking analysts SMEs, manage end-to-end service delivery, and partner closely with Genpact’s Customer Experience Management teams and global banking clients to improve customer journeys and operational outcomes.
The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in Lending Operations, a strong people leadership customer first mindset, and the ability to challenge the status quo through innovation, automation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
As part of the Business Banking Services team, you will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end Business Banking Operations, ensuring delivery excellence across service levels, compliance, and client satisfaction.
Key responsibilities include:
•Handle client operations for business lending activities, including Booking and Servicing functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with banking standards.
•Audits data transactions and takes/makes client calls, is responsible for adhering to defined performance level parameters (efficiency, quality etc.)
•Bring deep domain expertise in business lending operations and act as the subject matter authority for client and internal teams.
•Apply proactive problem-solving approaches by anticipating potential challenges and addressing them before they escalate into issues.
•Drive better margins by ensuring optimal utilization of resources, automation of manual efforts, and strategic workforce deployment.
•Participate in cross-functional discussions on process standardization, system validation, customization, and integration of new technologies and tools to enhance reporting accuracy and process efficiency.
•Engage actively in new client pilots, solution design, and process reviews for new opportunities, ensuring seamless implementation and steady-state delivery.
•Ensure strict adherence to SLAs, compliance standards, and data security protocols in line with client and regulatory expectations.
•Lead, mentor, and inspire teams, building a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes accountability, learning, and high performance.
•Challenge the status quo by bringing innovative perspectives and continuously identifying new ways of working that improve efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
•Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce/Finance preferable)

Preferred qualifications
•Strong understanding of the end-to-end loan lifecycle, including origination, document preparation, loan booking, servicing, and closure.
•Prior experience in Business/Retail Banking/Mortgage or Finance industry. Any experience in working with Australian Bank/Mortgage of Finance industry would be helpful
•Experience in handling medium to large teams (20-25 FTEs) in a BPO or Banking operations setup.
•Expertise in execution, solution identification, process mapping, and process documentation.
•Strong capability to manage and enhance client relationships, ensuring operational continuity, satisfaction, and long-term engagement.
•Excellent Interpersonal skills
•Experience using MIS tools and technologies (Excel, Power BI, SQL, or equivalent) to monitor performance and operational efficiency.
•Proficient in MS Office skills including MS Excel
