Assistant Manager, Supply Chain Management (Korean and Thai Speaking)

Position Summary

1. Minimizes sales opportunity loss and cost in supply chain by operating strategic supply forecast considering the lead time based on market demand analysis.
2. Improves demand operation level of sales subsidiaries by complying with rules & processes of supply management and maintaining optimal inventory for distribution.
3. Maximizes SCM (Supply Chain Management) operation efficiency by building mid- and long-term resource management strategy through in-advance-discussions regarding mid- and long-term demands.

Role and Responsibilities

Design and generate weekly and monthly supply & demand statistical forecast reportsEvolve and maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for demand & supply planning processes and systems in accordance to business rhythmMeasure the impact of supply & demand forecast accuracyConduct current and future forecasting analysis, ensuring forecasting processes and methods are followedAssemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast (historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and eventually tier 1 account POS and inventory levels)Make recommended adjustments to forecast and inventory targets based on changes in demand and market conditions                        Lead forecast and inventory planning meetings with the Marketing team, reviewing recommended sales forecasts and inventory goals (emphasis on brand/product transitions, new product introduction, and promotions)Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) that are approved by managementPrepare, report, and communicate forecast and inventory measurements to management (forecast accuracy, inventory plan vs. targets).Monitor SKU levels and recommend SKU rationalization initiatives in the futureLead SCM sessions, ensuring monthly and yearly estimate closing, work closely with Head of Modern Trade, Client Leaders, Head of Dealer, and Head of Product Marketing to identify gap closing supply & demand based on marketing and trade activitiesPerform other duties as assigned by management /direct supervisor

Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications

A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Operations, Business, Supply Chain Management, or quantitative analysis is preferredMinimum 7 years of related experience in Demand Planning/ Forecasting, Supply Chain Management, or other related functionsBackground in master scheduling, forecasting, procurement and planningStrong analytical abilitiesStrong knowledge of the demand planning processKnowledge of demand management/forecasting tools, forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations, finance, manufacturing and supply chain issuesDetail-oriented with extreme accuracyExtensive spreadsheet analysis and strong mathematical abilitiesKnowledge of turn rates, key inventory performance metrics, turns, margin contributions, etc.Ability to lead cross-functionally, being approachable.Strong collaborative skills in resolving long and short positions in inventoryExperience in managing end of life cycle and absolute inventoryGood coordinator and able to work very well under high pressureExperience using SAP (preferred) or other ERP statistical software packagesGood command of English, both spoken and written with computer literacy
