As **Assistant Manager, Marketing Excellence** , you’ll support acquisition teams by improving how we work day to day. You’ll help streamline processes, strengthen operational frameworks, and keep information flowing clearly and consistently across channels. By making it easier for teams to execute well, you’ll help drive faster, more effective acquisition outcomes while supporting the high standards that define the American Express brand. **Key responsibilities include:** Distribution & Communications Excellence + Navigate and drive progress through the governance processes to enable new acquisition initiatives and capabilities + Support audit activities across Acquisition by preparing materials, coordinating responses and helping track action closure + Assist with ORE reviews and remediation communications ensuring issues are documents, addressed and reported accurately. + Provide support on key risk and compliance tasks and broader risk uplift initiatives. + Champion internal training, platforms and systems to ensure continuous improvement. + Support Acquisition team’s issue management, control management, and testing execution. + Review Customer Complaints, and drive action plans for resolution. **Minimum Qualifications** + Exceptional organisational and stakeholder-management skills. + Team player who is flexible and maintains a positive attitude through ongoing change management + Highly effective communication style (written and verbal) with the ability to collaborate and influence at all levels and with multiple stakeholders within an organisation + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail + Autonomy in managing complex process, identifying gaps and driving improvement + Familiarity with regulatory compliance in financial services is an advantage. **Preferred Qualifications** + Understanding of marketing governance, operational risk, compliance frameworks and controlled process executions is a plus but not essential Knowledge of marketing channels including media, website and email **Qualifications** We back you with benefits that support your holistic well-being so you can be and deliver your best.
