4 Year Degree Job Summary The University of Louisiana Monroe (ULM) is seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our esteemed Athletics Department as an Assistant Volleyball Coach. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our Division I volleyball program and make a lasting impact on the lives of our student-athletes. Duties and Responsibilities • Provide coaching expertise during practices and matches, offering guidance and feedback to enhance individual and team performance. • Assist with scouting and recruiting talented student-athletes, identifying prospects who will excel both academically and athletically at ULM. • Support the academic progress and personal growth of student-athletes, fostering an environment that promotes excellence on and off the court. • Collaborate with the coaching staff and Athletics Department to ensure compliance with NCAA rules and regulations • Perform other duties as required and/or assigned Minimum Qualifications/Requirements • In-depth knowledge of volleyball strategies, techniques, and game management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse groups,
including student-athletes, coaching staff, and administrators.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage
multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Demonstrated commitment to the academic success and personal development of
student-athletes.
• Some collegiate volleyball coaching and/or playing experience required.
