General Labor Position Role: Speed Sign Installation Must be able to drive a radius of 50 miles from Miami Mileage Reimbursement! Pay: 20-$21/hr Job Description This position is responsible for pre-and post-field installations of school zone speed signage, equipment maintenance, and record completion throughout the Miami/Dade area. Essential Skills + Proficient experience with hand tools and measuring instruments + General understanding of signage and installation + Ability to lift 50 lbs. + Comfortable working outdoors. + Proficiency with basic hand tools and ladders Additional Skills & Qualifications + Strong communication skills and ability to work independently. Work Environment This position requires travel in the Miami area. It is primarily an on-the-road position, requiring site-to-site travel. Must be able to drive own vehicle and work in varying outdoor weather conditions. The job requires moderate physical activity, including carrying and transporting loads up to 50 lbs. It involves long periods of driving throughout local and surrounding areas. Good vision with correction and the ability to differentiate colors between light signals is necessary. Must be willing to work in high voltage areas and at various heights, including on ladders. Occasional evening and weekend work is required based on job demands. Driving constitutes at least 75% of the workday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Miami, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
