Assistant Facility Manager Job ID 234071 Posted 15-Aug-2025 Service line GWS Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Facilities Management Location(s) Columbia - Missouri - United States of America **About the Role:** As a CBRE Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for facilities over a 330,000sq ft office regulated spaces. This job is a part of the Facilities Management functional area which focuses on all aspects of the operations of a set of assets, providing support to the Property Managers regarding all repairs and investment plans. **What You’ll Do:** + Oversee multiple projects within the facility, ensuring that the client and facilities management team are kept informed of project status. + Serve as the primary liaison between the client, vendors, and CBRE, ensuring work orders are completed promptly and all parties are aligned. + Collaborate closely with team members to establish an efficient operational workflow. + Create and process purchase orders (POs) and maintain accurate documentation. + Perform tasks independently with minimal supervision. + Document and update clients using CMMS programs. + Communicate with landlords on projects and status. + Build and maintain relationships with clients and landlords directly. + Point of contact for all front-line clients on various requests. + Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. + Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. + Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. + Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. + Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. + Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations. **What You’ll Need:** + Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. + Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedent. + In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc. + Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. + Advanced math skills.
